SUBLUXATION-
It occurs when trauma to the body causes one of the spinal bones
to slip out of place. This misaligned bone presses on the delicate
spinal cord and nerves, interfering with the mental impulses traveling
from the brain to the body. The entire nerve system will then
begin to malfunction. HEALTH-
A condition at which the body is functioning at 100%. When all
systems are working properly, a state that includes physical,
social and emotional well-being- Not merely the absence of
disease and symptoms. **IMPORTANT** Symptoms mean very little
in determining health. CENTRAL
NERVOUS SYSTEM- The master control system of the body responsible
for all body functions. ex: immune, circulatory, etc. ADJUSTMENT-
A chiropractic adjustment is a quick thrust applied to a displaced
spinal vertebra. This is done to restore the spine back to its
proper position, allowing the nervous system to work properly. CHIROPRACTIC-
The study of the spine and how it relates to normal function of
the nervous system. Chiropractors do not treat disease, but
in turn look for the cause. MEDICINE-
